NOTE I had no desire to purchase, acquire, or have bestowed upon me, any software or programs. I made my purchase at a Best Buy Store but only after consultiong one of their so called experts who assured me of the right choice. I purchased a WT MyBook External Memory as a 'warehouse' for electronic marine navigation charts. I copied my nearly 8GB Unreal Tournament 3 install to the drive (1900 files exactly), and that took 10'21". To ensure that it wasn't a problem with the drive, I copied my 1.3GB Guild Wars data file (a single file) to the drive.
